Jensy Amparo, 26, died Saturday at Lincoln Hospital, two days after he was shot as he sat in his car in the Grand Concourse neighborhood of the Bronx.
Amparo had just left the High Life Deli and Grocery on Grand Concourse around 3:30 a.m. Thursday and gotten into the driver’s seat of his Honda sedan when a gunman who followed him out of the store opened the passenger’s door — where the victim’s girlfriend was sitting — and demanded his ring, threatening to shoot him if he refused, police said.
