The first issue of Revija Fokus was published on May 21, 2008, in New York. From the very beginning, it became clear that there was a strong need for a media platform connecting people of Montenegrin origin in the diaspora.
Driven by that idea—and aware that no such publication existed in New York or across the United States—we launched a mission to connect our community. The success was immediate.
Revija Fokus quickly gained a large readership. The magazine was distributed across the United States and Canada, with part of the circulation regularly reaching Montenegro. Each new issue was highly anticipated, and Fokus soon became one of the most widely read publications from the former Yugoslav region in New York and New Jersey.
Six years later, following modern media trends and the advantages of digital communication, we decided to expand our work and shift our focus to an online platform.
It proved to be the right decision.
Today, Portal Revije Fokus is the most widely read diaspora portal, with a continuously growing audience both abroad and in the homeland. Our content is followed daily by readers from around the world.
